In 2025, the World Happiness Report released its annual Happiest Countries List, with the shock result that Australia had dropped out of the top 10 for the first time. But we thought, maybe it’s not that we’re unhappy, it’s that the things that make us happy make no sense to an international panel of judges. So we figured we’d show them why Australia is actually the happiest place on Earth. And while it didn’t get us back in the top 10, it did impress at least one panel of international judges, winning a pencil for Writing at D&AD.
